Wild West Poker Night a Success
The Dayton High School Booster Club dealt up a rootin’-tootin’ good time with a Wild West Poker fundraiser benefiting DHS Safe & Sober Grad Night at The Odeon in Dayton on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Virginia City Outlaws kicked things off with a surprise appearance, hootin’ and hollerin’ to get players fired up and ready to spend their chips. Cards hit the felt at 4 p.m., as violinist Cecilia Vale and pianist Dave Lingensjo set the mood with instrumentals to get players in the zone. Later in the evening, singer-songwriter Reed Peterson took the stage to keep the fun rolling and energy high. Guests also enjoyed a lively silent auction, raffles, and a hearty dinner catered by Lady Griller Catering—proving once again that supporting the local community can be both meaningful and a whole lot of fun.
