UPDATED STORY: Partial Reopening of USA Parkway at Innovation Way Following Water Main Break

USA Parkway at Innovation Way has reopened to limited traffic following the earlier closure caused by a water main break.

Traffic is currently flowing in both directions using the southbound lanes, with one lane of travel in each direction.

Motorists should be aware of the following traffic conditions:

  • Traffic is open in both directions using the southbound lanes.
  • Only one lane of travel is available in each direction.
  • Northbound lanes remain closed at this time while repair work continues.
  • Drivers should expect delays and proceed with caution through the area.

Crews continue working to repair the water main and restore normal traffic operations. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, remain alert for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time.

USA Parkway at Innovation Way is closed due to a water main break. There is no through access on USA Parkway between Interstate 80 and Highway 50, and the closure may be long-term while repairs are completed.

Motorists should plan for significant traffic impacts:

  • No through access on USA Parkway between Interstate 80 and Highway 50.
  • Alternate routes are required; expect longer travel times. 
  • Access to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center from Interstate 80 is still possible; however, through traffic from Highway 50 to Interstate 80 is not possible.
