Visiting the Republic of Molossia
If you're new to the Comstock, you may be surprised to learn that one of the world's smallest nations is right in our own backyard.
Just outside Dayton lies the Republic of Molossia, a self-declared micronation founded by His Excellency, President Kevin Baugh. Established in 1977, Molossia has spent nearly five decades building its own unique culture, traditions, government agencies, currency, railroad, holidays, and plenty of good-natured humor along the way. What the nation lacks in size, it more than makes up for in personality and spirit.
To experience this tiny nation for yourself, book a guided tour with President Baugh and First Lady Adrianne. Visitors are treated to a fascinating and entertaining look at 49 years of Molossian history, complete with stories, landmarks, customs, and plenty of laughs. Whether you're a history buff, a fan of Weird Nevada attractions, or simply looking for a unique adventure, a visit to Molossia is an experience you won't soon forget.
Tours are offered on select dates throughout the visitor season and typically last about an 90-120 minutes. To view current 2026 tour dates, visitor information, and reservation details, visit www.molossia.org/visiting.html
