Storey County Provides 2026 General Election Information for Voters

Storey County residents are encouraged to prepare for the upcoming 2026 General Election by reviewing important election dates, voting options and voter registration information. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.

Voters who prefer to cast their ballot before Election Day may participate in early voting from Oct. 17–30.  Registered voters are encouraged to verify that their voter registration information is current before the election. Confirming your address, party affiliation and contact information helps ensure voters receive important election materials and avoid delays. 

“Every election requires preparation from our voters, election staff and community partners,” said Jim Hindle, Storey County Clerk & Treasurer. “We encourage residents to check their registration information early, learn about their voting options and make a plan before Election Day.”

Nevada provides multiple ways for eligible voters to participate, including voting by mail, early voting and voting in person on Election Day. Same-day voter registration and registration updates are also available in person during early voting and on Election Day for eligible voters.
