Local Artists Shine at Second Annual Summer Faire
Around 20 talented regional artists and creators filled the historic halls of St. Mary's Art Center during the Second Annual Summer Faire in Virginia City on June 13-14. The free, family-friendly event transformed the landmark building into a vibrant showcase of creativity, featuring custom artwork, handcrafted goods, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Visitors wandered through the center's historic rooms, meeting artists face-to-face, learning about their work, and discovering the inspiration behind each unique piece. The two-day celebration highlighted the incredible talent found throughout Northern Nevada while creating a welcoming space for the community to connect through art, culture, and history.
From colorful displays to lively conversations, the Summer Faire served as a reminder that the arts continue to play an important role in keeping Virginia City's creative spirit alive.
