BEWARE!

Cracks have begun appearing on some of the graves in the Dayton cemetery. There is concern among local residents that spirits might be trying to return to the world of the living. At the present rate, it is estimated they will emerge on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 29!

Join the Historical Society of Dayton Valley for a free hayride through Old Town Dayton to meet some of these escaped ghosts of the past and hear light-hearted tales of their history as well as some real-life ghost stories of our pioneering town. The evening starts at the museum on Shady Lane at Logan Alley, where there will also be old-fashioned games for the kids. Inside the museum, you will find light refreshments for all. Costumes are encouraged and kids from 0 to 102 are invited.

Hayrides and activities run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29. Remember to dress warmly! In case of rain, the event will move to the Dayton Community Center on Pike Street (at Logan).
