Old Corner Bar Closes, County to Open Bid for Lease
The historic Old Corner Bar at Piper's Opera House closed its doors in December 2025 as the owners announced their retirement. The location will be available for lease by Storey County once the leasing price is decided in the upcoming months. Those interested can find updates on the Storey County website under Public Works bids (miscellaneous), and subscribe to alerts to be notified when it’s listed. Closed: 12 N. B St., Virginia City
