Dayton Valley Days Celebrates Community, History, and America 250

This year, the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and community partners hosted a special Dayton Valley Days honoring America 250. Thousands of residents and visitors spent two full days immersed in history, entertainment, and supporting Nevada businesses.

More than 150 vendors, food trucks, and community organizations lined Main and Pike streets, along with several side streets, creating a lively celebration throughout Historic Downtown Dayton. From the car show to live music, pet parade to community yoga, there was something for every generation.

Kiwanis of Dayton Township provided the annual pancake breakfast each morning so guests had the energy to enjoy all of the activities available. Throughout the weekend, guests participated in wagon and speeder car rides, a Kids Zone, bounce house and face painting, free children's vision screenings, tethered hot air balloon rides on Sunday, and plenty of opportunities to explore Dayton's history. Visitors could tour the Dayton Museum, Firehouse and Chapel, watch blacksmith demonstrations and try their hand at gold panning at the Odeon. Plus, the Community Center was home to the robust weekend-long silent auction and raffle.

Dayton Valley Days is a true community tradition and celebration of local businesses, organizations, and community. Official 2026 Dayton Valley Days T-shirts were available at the event, and can still be purchased through the Chamber.
