Amity Lodge No. 4 Installation of Officers for 2026

Amity Lodge No. 4 Installation of Officers for 2026

On Saturday, Dec. 13, the quiet town of Silver City hosted the Amity Lodge No. 4 Free & Accepted Masons Annual Installation of Officers at “the little lodge on the hill”. Family members, friends, and community supporters gathered for this special occasion to learn about the historic lodge, tour the hall, and observe a time-honored Masonic tradition that few ever witness.

The lodge received its first charter in 1863 as Silver City Lodge No. 163 and was later chartered as Amity Lodge No. 4 in January 1865; today – 160 years later – our local Masonic Order remains an active and thriving presence on the Comstock. This ancient fraternal organization for men teaches enduring values and lessons about brotherhood, truth, self-improvement, and charity.

Amity Lodge No. 4 holds closed sessions on the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the community dinner at 6 p.m., held prior to the Regular Communication. To learn more, visit amitylodge4nv.org/index.shtml and follow “Amity Lodge No. 4, Free & Accepted Masons” on Facebook.

Congratulations to the incoming leadership who will guide the lodge and its activities throughout the coming year.
