Voices From the Past: Making Comstock History Come Alive

On Oct. 4-5 and Oct. 18-19, actors from Funtime Theater will host another weekend of Voices from the Past, taking guests on a walking tour of the Silver Terrace Cemeteries while playing the "spirits" of prominent Virginia City residents buried there. The actors will talk about various aspects of everyday life in a mining town, from firefighting to medical care to the challenges women faced. Bring comfortable walking shoes--and a camera to capture the scenic views of Virginia City and the cemetery's old gravestones.

Note: Due to a private event at the Cemetery on the Oct. 11-12, the second weekend of shows was moved to Oct. 18-19.
