Three Arrested for Burglary, Drugs in TRI-Center
STOREY COUNTY, NV - On March 2, 2026, at approximately 10:51 a.m., Storey County Sheriff's Office deputies were alerted to a stolen motor vehicle out of California traveling on USA Parkway in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. Deputies initiated a traffic enforcement stop and safely detained the driver and two passengers.
Upon investigation, it was learned a male passenger (allegedly) brought the vehicle to the driver's residence so they could take a scenic road trip. The driver accepted and the two set off. Along the way, they decided they needed more company, and picked up a female subject. The three musketeers then set off into the night for a leisurely drive to Nevada...until it was interrupted by our boys in green.
Somehow, none of the three knew how they came to be in possession of a stolen vehicle, with the two male subjects claiming it was loaned from a friend. Unfortunately for them, our deputies contacted the actual owner of the vehicle, who stated he did not know any of the subjects (imagine that).
Upon further investigation, shockingly, controlled substances, a large quantity of marijuana, burglary tools, and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Bad news for our traveling troupe. All three were subsequently arrested and booked into the Storey County Detention Facility on the following charges:
