VIA STOREY COUNTY, NEVADA – The Storey County Community Project Grant was developed to assist our communities with projects that will benefit and enhance the lives of all community members. For this application and funding process, the County is divided into four areas and each area can apply for up to $10,000 per year. We encourage the communities that are listed in each area to work together when applying for project funding.

The four areas are as follows:

  • Area 1: Lockwood, Mustang, Painted Rock, and the Northeast
  • Area 2: Lagomarsino and the Highlands
  • Area 3: Gold Hill and Virginia City
  • Area 4: Mark Twain

Each application requires a minimum of three people who live within their designated area to work together as a team. Multiple teams from each area may submit applications. Each funding request can either be for a single project totaling $10,000 or multiple smaller projects totaling $10,000.
