Spirits & Sundaes at Amity Lodge #4
On Saturday, Oct. 11, Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters (NNGH) led guests on the first ever paranormal investigation of Silver City's Amity Lodge No. 4, a Masonic building dating back to 1863.
"Investigators demonstrated the use of specialized equipment designed to detect subtle environmental changes and shared stories of their findings as the night unfolded," wrote Lodge Junior Warden and Historian Audie Robinson. "The event offered visitors a rare opportunity to experience the Little Lodge on the Hill after dark while supporting ongoing preservation and restoration efforts for this important piece of Comstock heritage."
Guests enjoyed exclusive access to the ritual room and lower chambers, a guided ghost hunt, open-floor discussion on local lore, and desserts to "sweeten the chills". Event proceeds go to benefit the Amity Lodge No. 4 Restoration & Preservation Fund.
