Six Mile Canyon Road is still CLOSED. There are signs and barriers at the top and bottom. These signs mean you may not use Six Mile Canyon Road. It does not mean move the barriers and use the road anyway. Deputies are present at the top and bottom. If you go through a barrier you will be stopped and cited. We will update when the road is open.

Storey County Public Works has released an update on B Street Road Work – Week of July 28. Here’s what’s planned for B Street this week. Crews will continue pouring curbs and gutters through the beginning of the week. Base material will be spread from Mill Street heading north.
The project's goal is to remove and reduce flammable fuels from public spaces, riparian areas, and the Cottonwood forest within the river corridor.
