Public Invited to Observe Final Election-Related Processes

The Storey County Clerk's Office is providing three final opportunities for members of the public to observe key election-related processes following the June 9, 2026, election.

These activities are part of Nevada's election administration procedures and help ensure the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the election process.

Mail Ballot Processing
Storey County election staff will process and tabulate mail ballots received by Election Day.

Date: June 9, 2026
Time: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Final Ballot Processing Prior to Canvass
The final ballot processing session will take place the sixth day after election.

Date: June 15, 2026
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Storey County Historic Courthouse

The canvass is the official certification process during which election results are finalized and approved and will take place during the regularly scheduled June 16 meeting of the Board of County Commissioners.

Post-Election Logic and Accuracy Testing
Following the election, election officials will conduct a post-election Logic and Accuracy test to verify that voting equipment continues to process and tabulate ballots per the parameters established prior to the election.
