One Arrested After Stabbing in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center

STOREY COUNTY, NV - On August 5, 2025 at 0614 hours, Storey County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a report of a stabbing located in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. Deputies were on scene within 30 seconds of the call being dispatched and located a male suspect, who was immediately detained. Deputies located a male victim with several stab wounds to his left side and back area. The victim was transported to an area hospital via ambulance, where he is in stable condition.

Upon investigation and interviews with multiple witnesses, it was determined the suspect, Adam Stoddard (age 40 of Blue Rapids, Kansas), had gotten into a verbal altercation with a co-worker regarding a parking issue. During the verbal altercation, Stoddard produced a fixed blade knife from his waistband and stabbed the victim approximately 5 times in the left side and back area. Stoddard was placed under arrest and transported to the Storey County Detention Facility, where he was booked on the following charges, with a total bail of $115,000.00:

NRS 200.481.2e2 Battery with use of a deadly weapon, substantial bodily harm
