New SCSD School Resource Officer Announced

Are you ready to meet your new School Resource Officer? That’s right! Deputy Simons will be joined by Deputy Sayedi!

Deputy Sayedi has served in the jail and patrol divisions. And this year begins her journey as a School Resource Officer. Deputy Sayedi said of becoming an SRO:

“I want to be a School Resource Officer because I want to make a positive impact on students while helping create a safe and supportive school environment. I want to build trust with students and be someone they feel comfortable turning to when they need help.”
