New Executive Director at the Dayton Chamber

If you’ve ever wandered into the Community Center during Dayton Valley Days and admired the bustling silent auction and raffle, you’ve already seen the talent and dedication of our new Executive Director, Cathy Mitchell!

Cathy and her husband Ken moved to Dayton in 2017 after retiring from the City of Riverside, eager to be closer to their sons and families. In 2018, she began working as an executive assistant for Jody Foley at RE/MAX Professionals, and by 2019 she was volunteering with the Dayton Valley Days committee. Her involvement with the Chamber steadily grew—joining the Chamber Board in 2022 and then serving as Co-Chair for Dayton Valley Days.

“I have really enjoyed being a part of this community,” Mitchell shared. “I look forward to bringing business and community together.”

Chamber President Chris Pattison expressed his enthusiasm for the Chamber’s future, warmly welcoming Cathy to her new role.
