Deputies from the Central Command Patrol Division immediately initiated an investigation, entered the juvenile into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a runaway/missing person, and requested the assistance of the LCSO Investigations Division, Major Crimes Unit.
Through the course of the investigation, deputies and investigators identified 31-year-old Gordon Alexander Bayne of Silver Springs as a person of interest.
