Fourth Ward School Hosts Kids Fair

Historic Fourth Ward School hosted its 5th Annual Educational Kids Fair this past Saturday, which turned out to offer perfect weather for spending time indoors. This year had the best attendance to date, with well over 100 children participating in several activities, along with a few adults who were still kids at heart. Participants enjoyed various engaging activities, including digging for ghosts, gold panning, typesetting, old-time photos, axe throwing, and knot tying, among others. One of the highlights for several kids was a table with fire extinguishers, where they could try out their skills, resulting in big smiles all around from that experience.
