Virginia City gears up for the 55th annual Grand Prix, a two-day off-road motorcycle race through the historic mining town and surrounding terrain. First held in 1971, this legendary two-day off-road motorcycle race attracts nearly 1,000 riders across 41 classes, all vying for victory on one of the most demanding and iconic courses in the west. The racecourse weaves through Virginia City’s downtown streets and rugged backcountry, creating a challenging experience for riders and a unique spectacle for attendees. Admission is free.
