Silver Springs, Nev – On a sunny Nevada Saturday afternoon in early November, the Comstock Metals facility on Lake Avenue came alive with the sounds of conversation, laughter, and the unmistakable aroma of grilled burgers and hot dogs. More than 100 neighbors, community leaders, employees and even investors gathered for Comstock Metals first-ever BBQ Block Party - an event designed to celebrate the community and showcase a remarkable clean energy innovation.

All of the participants enjoyed good food and drinks while
discussing solar panel recycling, renewable critical minerals and even taking tours through Comstock Metals’ first-of-its-kind, ‘zero-landfill” solar panel recycling facility, a critical cog in northern Nevada’s fast growing clean- tech manufacturing and renewable metal refining sector. The tours offered everyone an inside look at the Comstock's advanced processes for recycling and recovering 100% of the solar panel materials, and imagining a new form of “urban” silver and other metal recovery ( “mining” ) that will build on a 166 year legacy as of 2025.

The event was hosted by Mr. Kyle Geddes, a Dayton resident, who proved he’s as
skilled at the grill as he is in operations, with behind-the-scenes coordination by Ms. Kayla Alm and the entire Comstock Metals team providing tours for the guests. Together, they created a welcoming afternoon that blended hospitality, learning, and local pride.

Among those in attendance were Lyon County Commissioners, community partners, and families eager to see how Silver Springs is positioning itself for the future. “Events like this remind us that our strength comes from the people who believe in what we’re building, sustainably, together,” the company shared.

Here’s to a legacy of Comstock industrial innovations, Nevada grit, public-private
collaborations, Silver Kings, and a bright future powered by teamwork and innovation!!
