Feb 4: Boil Water Notice Rescinded – TRI-Center
The precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on Jan. 30, 2026, for the TRI GID water system has been rescinded.
Bacteriological test results confirm that E. coli and other coliform bacteria are not present in the system, and the water is safe for normal use.

Feb. 2: Water service has been restored in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center; however, the Boil Water Notice remains in effect.
Businesses and customers on USA Parkway south of Denmark Drive, Peru Drive, and Pittsburg Avenue should continue to boil water for three minutes before use for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, and making ice until the notice is officially rescinded.
TRI General Improvement District anticipates lifting the Boil Water Notice later this week, pending required water quality testing.
