Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Silver City, Nevada

Storey County, Nev. —The boil water notice issued for Silver City has been rescinded following completion of required water quality testing.

The notice was issued last week out of an abundance of caution after Public Works completed repairs on a water line leak in the area.

Test results confirm the water is safe for normal use. Residents may resume using tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation.

Storey County appreciates the public’s patience during this process.
